BLUE LIGHT; Mosely, Walter; This is a fantastic science fiction read.  Put it on your must list!

THE HAUNTED TEA-COSY (A Dispirited and Distasteful Diversion for Christmas);

by: Gorey, Edward; 1997; about 60 pages; A heavily illustrated book; This is an updated version of the old ghost of Christmas past, present and future story.  Not for younger children only because they will be bored, but I found it worth the 20 minutes I spent going through it twice enjoying the verse and illustrations. You will like it.

NEVERWHERE; Gaiman, Neil; 336 pages; Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.  Fantasy at it’s best.  Everyone should read this book.

OPEN SKIES, CLOSED MINDS; Pope, Nick; A disappointing book.  I expected something concrete or even earth shattering about UFO’s since he worked within the system in Britain.  Neither was there.

PROBABILITY I;  Aczel, Amir D; If you are interested in the idea of probability theory you will love this book.  If you aren’t beserk about this sort of stuff, don’t bother.  I loved it.

SAM WALTON - MADE IN AMERICA;  Walton, Sam with John Huey; 1992; 332 pages; EASY READ; This is the story of Wal-Mart from the horse’s mouth.  It is non-stop Sam with other’s  “testimonial” and “qualifying” comments throughout.  I thought I would get a salesman’s pitch and I did.  I was surprisingly happy with it even though there was no revealing scandalous information.  I use to think Vermont was right, keep them out.  Now I’m not so sure.

STAIRWAYS TO THE STARS; Aveni, Anthony; Skywatching in three ancient cultures.  Great Britain, Mayan, and the Inca Empire. This is special interest reading but you will love it if your interest.  Detailed analysis of the huge role the heavens played in these cultures.

STARDUST; Gaiman, Neil; 238 pages; Fantastic!  You’ll find yourself becoming part of it.  You really should read this book.

THE SUMERIANS; by: Woolley, C. Leonard; 198 pages; Good description of what was going on with the Sumerian political and power structures through their history.  Most people aren’t even aware of their historical significance. You should read this book only if you are interested in this stuff.  Not of general interest.

ONLY WITH MARX AND JESUS; Mongar, Tom; 147 pages; copywrite 1997; a well written blend of philosophy and political theory.  If you are reading this book for religion you are missing the point!  If you like this you may also want to go back and read WITHOUT MARX OR JESUS, published in 1970 by Revel, Jean-Francois.  This comparison will show the value of hindsight and if taken with thoughtful reflection will only strengthen the wisdom of continually thinking about how systems work.
