There have always been many opinions and descriptions written about
The South. Some say we walk slower, talk slower, even think slower. As
I have said many times in regards to thinking slower, we tend to think of
it as "thinking it through." Few would deny however that everything coming
out of The South seems to have more passion. Some attribute that to the
heat, or perhaps the Mint Juleps. Rich historical and cultural traditions have
been our stock in trade for as long as there has been a "Dixie." It's a part of
our heritage we all hold near and dear to our hearts, never to be forgotten.Weddings and funerals in the South have always been described as a
"presentation with a fervor." And we would agree with that. A Southern
wedding celebrates the beginning of two lives joined together on a journey
through life. And the other celebrates the end of the journey. The wedding of Christie to Wade held in Birmingham, Alabama Sept 11, 1999
was just such a "presentation with a fervor." One we will long remember.
A celebration of a beginning.
The Engagement![]()
Christie, The following pages were created as a tribute to your marriage to Wade. You may one day want to create pages with your own thoughts, snapshots, plans and memories of this day. At which time anything on the following pages you may want to use will be yours to use as you choose.
Of all the many things I could wish for you both... I wish you love~~~ Aunt Donnis
Background graphics for this page were created by a true Southern lady
and my Internet friend, Pam Easley. Thank you so much "SweetMamaPam"
