It's unfortunate, but cooperation and support, for this project, from some leading companies in the martial arts video industry, seems to be a hard thing to come by!

This project is here to help the martial arts community! It would appear that some video companies don't care about helping consumers make a more informed decision about their products, so that they don't end up feeling “ripped off”. They'd rather go on until the end of time with their "full page - blue sky ads" which give assumptive and misleading information, all the while hiding customer dissatisfaction behind their "no returns" policies? Thank God for the internet and this project, which allows us to get you some REAL information about what they’re trying to sell you. A review resource, such as ours, is something I'm sure many of these companies thought would never happen! In fact, I can tell you that some of them HATE what we're doing to their business. Several have told us so! Which only helps confirm to us that what we’re doing is the right thing.

I firmly believe that some or these companies feel dollars are more important than the lives that depend on their training, doing what's right and fair for consumers, etc. I also believe NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THEN MAKING MONEY to some of them. Heck, many look at this as only a business, and their reluctance to send videos for our reviews, combined with their “return policies”, tell us without a doubt, who and what's more important to them, along with how they really feel about the quality of their products. It’s unfortunate, but to some of these companies all you are is a big dollar sign with feet. And many would prefer you have no brains to make intelligent buying decisions, or a voice to tell others the truth about them and their products. And while we’re all walking around hoping that what they offer is good and real, they’re plotting how to get in our heads with their misleading ads, so they can have what’s in our wallets.

I personally think some of these companies run around with the attitude: "If we've done a few video series that aren't that great, let's hide that fact from the public by not having anyone review our tapes, or offering any returns. That way we can keep selling our crap and making LOTS of money. In fact let's just keep quiet and put our HUGE ads out each month to all those martial arts suckers. Without anyone telling them the truth, and with our no “return policy “, we’ll make TONS of money and no one will be the wiser. 100% sales, 0% returns! We’ll have no accountability to the public. Can you think of a more beautiful business to be in?”

And prior to the internet I’m sure some of them also said or thought: “There’s now way for these suckers to know, or tell each other, which of our stuff is good or bad.”

Personally, I get a lot of satisfaction and comfort each day knowing that we may have kept one more person from feeling "ripped off" by some of these companies.

Some of these companies have forgotten, or don't realize, that you as their consumers actually get the "final word" with your HARD EARNED DOLLARS. And with your dollars you can let them know how you feel about their policies, quality of their products, support for us, etc. To you, their consumers, I say don't forget to show each and every one of these guys the same amount of faith, trust, support, and good will, they've shown you, us, and this project!

In the meantime stay tuned, we’ve got some reviews coming later this year, and next, that are sure to upset some of these companies. Between 6 video reviewers, 3 of us each have over 150 tapes. That's at least 450 tapes between us! We've got an assortment of tapes that's unreal! Some of these video companies, especially a couple of uncooperative ones that put out garbage, have no clue what bombs are going to be dropped on them later on. It's going to make Hiroshima and Nagasaki look like a day at the amusement park. And it's not because they've been uncooperative. A couple of these companies really put out junk. And as we originally stated when we started the reviews, "if companies put out a good product, they shouldn't have any problem with supporting this project by sending us a few tapes". As suspected, several of those companies that didn't cooperate REALLY DO PUT OUT JUNK. If anyone wants in on the fun we're going to be having, we're still looking at adding reviewers with large tape collections.

I’d like to again thank our many fans who understand the huge mountain we’re trying to climb with these companies. Some of you have helped us ALOT more than some of these companies have. I can't believe how many tapes we've received from some of you. Several of you have shown us 100x more good will than some of these video companies have. To that we say THANK YOU VERY MUCH. You’ve sent us tapes, and as promised, we return them, and will post reviews on every one of them.
