Written Summary:

This is the first in a two tape series by Marco Lala that deals with an in depth look at kicking. On this tape, Mr. Lala takes us on a very thorough look at nine kicks which are well known to most martial artists. However, the training methods that Mr. Lala shows on this tape, may very well be new to many martial artists. If performed repetitively and in the correct order, these training drills cannot help but improve anyone's ability to kick. There is a tremendous amount of information contained in this video and it must be watched quite a few times to gain the maximum benefit.

This video is organized in a very logical and progressive fashion as it moves from the simpler kicks to the more complicated. Each kick is broken down the same way, and the same general method of training is applied to each kick, each is demonstrated by Mr. Lala. The use of voice overs (as opposed to the instructor talking while he is doing the technique) helps make this a good instructional tape.

I really think that beginning and intermediate martial artists would gain the most from this video because the kicks taught are basic kicks that are almost universal to all martial arts. However, the training drills shown are so good, that even if you are an advanced martial artist, you could still probably learn a lot from this video. This is a good video on kicking.
