Mann's Martial Arts of Dallas is your best choice for quick and effective ADULT SELF DEFENSE instruction. We DO NOT offer classes for kids or anyone under the age of 18 yrs old! Our goal is to get-you-in-shape, teach you street-effective self defense in a safe environment that will have you ready in months, using the best techniques from several styles. In addition, we excel in helping older adults, and individuals with handicaps, injuries, or physical limitations, to quickly and effectively learn how to defend themselves.
There are many factors to consider when choosing a Dallas Martial Arts school. If you want to learn a kicking art, then we have that. If however you're not interested in kicks, or have limitations that make that too difficult, or want a couple of hand-oriented arts as a backup to kicking, then we have a couple of hands-oriented arts we're sure you'll love. Our hand-oriented arts deliver fast and devastating hand techniques that afterwards flow into locks, takedowns/throws, and chokes for controlling and finishing moves. This will be one of the most complete Martial Art programs ever offered in Dallas!
It is the Chief Instructors opinion that for some, kicking may only last a few years. He has seen countless instances throughout his training of some black belts eventually getting to where they can't kick anymore, due to kicking injuries, and dropping out of the martial arts forever. Thus, he offers a complete training program, so that if you don't want to do kicks, or can't kick now, or if years later into your training your physical condition changes and you can't kick then, you can still use the hand arts he taught you to their fullest! Mr. Mann's feeling is that the benefits from your martial arts training should last a lifetime, not just 10-30 years, or until you can't kick anymore!
Mr. Mann has chosen the schools name carefully, so that it truly represents his feeling about lifelong martial arts training. The schools abbreviation (MMA) has a two-fold meaning. First, it stands for Mann's Martial Arts, second, it stands for Mixed Martial Art, which is representative of how thorough your training will be!
The Chief Instructor brings many advantages to his students than NO OTHER Dallas instructor can. For more detailed information on his background click here.
