Written Summary:

Everytime I watch a video about Vee Arnis Jitsu, I am continually amazed at what a wonderful street self defense system it is. This tape is a continuation of the first tape in the series and concentrates on many more techniques that are used in Vee Arnis Jitsu. I counted up to 70 base techniques shown and that is not counting all the different options or variations shown off of these base techniques. Professor Vee makes another appearance on this tape, along with his number one instructor David James, both give the viewer an impressive show of their martial arts skills. On this tape, I saw rapid fire striking with hands and elbows, brutal close quarter combat, devastating throws, excruciating chokes, and some of the most painful thumb and finger locks ever seen on a video tape. I am telling any martial artists who happen to be reading this review, this system is the real deal if you want the ultimate street self defense system in my opinion.

My only criticism of this tape is that it is a bit shorter than volume one but it is still a great bang for the buck. I would have liked a bit more explanation on how to do some of the techniques but the camera angle and lighting is sufficient to see most of what needs to be seen. ESPY has a real winner in the first two tapes of this series. These guys not only deal in empty hands, but do a quick segment that features them sparring against each other using sticks and knives. It also has good information on dealing with street confrontations from a psychological perspective. I'd give Professor Vee and David James a big thumbs up for this video. I don't say this about every tape I review but I recommend this video ( and the other one in this series that I've reviewed ) as a must have regardless of where you are in the martial arts ( beginner, intermediate, advanced, or instructor ).
