At Christmas we will remember Eric.
We'll think about the youngster sleeping out on the cold
streets of Chicago, making his way as best he could.
He must have had some very sad and lonely times at Christmas.
Later, as a young teenager, he worked at all kinds of jobs,
snatching some schooling whenever there was time.
His dedication to learning and all he achieved are
real measures of his great spirit.
Then came the war years and Eric's service in the
U.S. Navy until 1946 when he was twenty-one years old.
Thankfuly he had his time working in the theatre
and in films and the successful years of "Rawhide" in which
to build happier Christmas memories.
So, we will think about Eric this Christmas
and light candles for him.
Eric, you will be remembered with love -
always.
Shirley and Barbara.
