EMQUAD was founded 1988 as an international marketing company and publisher of specialty advertising. In the early 1990's our operations in the U.K. and France produced product advertising on till rolls, while here in the U.S. we published a Customs booklet for airlines. These and certain other operations were later divested, allowing us to focus on our International Business Consulting and Book Publishing mission.
With regard to our International Mission, we are prepared to discuss ways of helping small U.S. businesses effectively establish a world presence through representation abroad, joint-ventures, or establishment of local companies, all of these drawing on our own experience. In reverse, we are prepared to help small foreign companies to set up in the U.S. with special attention to our base in New York. Send for our free consulting brochure!
As a Book Publisher, we are prepared to compose, edit, format, design, publish, market, and distribute any legitimate work. Send for our free publishing brochure!

The Memory of His Fathers, by J.E. Myers, examines the Ancestry of the author and his evolving expertise in tracing his roots. Beginning with 300 names on a 50-year-old family tree, 18 months of research produced 1500 more and a bewilderment of discoveries, such as links to James Joyce and Sigmund Freud.
A narrative on origins, births, marriages, occupations, and deaths, together with a lively commentary on the "how I did it" aspect of his search mean that the reader becomes part of the process. Besides the written commentary on family connections which takes up the bulk of the work, there are a map, photos, charts, statistics, place-name cross-reference, and a full index of names. See Reader Comments.
Hardcover (1997) and softcover (1999) editions, xiv+562 pp, are out of print.
Take the EMQUAD Challenge! See if you can trace the link from James Joyce to Sigmund Freud or vice versa. Only 8 family steps separate these giants of the 20th century. Go to Ancestry Search.
Another book, Journal of an Innocent Abroad, also by J.E. Myers, is a transcription of letters home from his 3½-month trip by railroad up, down, and around the European Continent in 1965. So that it retains its original flavor of innocence abroad, not one word has been omitted or changed. A quick read for those who want to experience a first voyage of discovery. Softcover, x+78 pp. See how to download the electronic version.
