"He was educated at the school at Westminster and studied to be an automobile mechanic. He was a good mechanic for many years. He operated a garage and repair shop. He was an excellent driver and knew automobiles well. During the 30s when business was dull he sold out his shop. He and Louie studied to be beauticians. They had a shop in Seneca where they worked. They had a good business and enlarged to several shops in nearby towns. After Louie's death in 1940, he sold the shops and retired." (Mary Pauline England, Zimmerman Family History)
