The Morgan County KY GenWeb Site
| Most of my dad's family has lived in Eastern Kentucky for
more than 200 years. This site is to help other genealogist
find their Eastern Kentucky roots. I focus on the origins of families and their
trail as they moved west. Many of my families were kin and neighbors long before they
arrived in Eastern Kentucky. Finding out about their ties
to each other long ago is what keeps me on the trail to
adding another and then another generation.
I am happy to share all that I know but I need to let you know that my work is not to be published in any format of any type. Please also note that my work is a work in progress. If I do not denote a resource backing up my information, that bit of information needs to be investigated further. I keep my guesses in my work so that others can see what I'm thinking but, though I try, each guess is not always clearly labled. You need to do your own research on what I provide. With those formalities out the way, let me welcome you to my website. If/when you find a mistake in my information, give me a holler! If you find we're kin, I'd like to hear from you too!
