Dr. Kennedy-Moore easily captured the imagination of the students. (Who would ever dream that slugs could be so interesting???) By sharing her personal journey in writing professionally, she reinforced the value of our classroom use of the writing process. Demonstrating warmth and humor, she managed to tap into the children's creativity and inspire them to take chances in their daily writing.

Dr. Kennedy-Moore's presentation on how not to spread yourself too thin was right on target for these times of library staff members being asked to do more with less. She clearly identified effective ways for librarians to sidestep the common pitfalls that come with the territory of working in a service professions. When I went back to my office, I could immediately put some of her suggestions into practice.

Eileen Kennedy-Moore, PhD was amazing from the initial contact she really listen to what we wanted for our audience and was able to deliver. The participants loved her training and were able to take back with them new ways to solve old problems personal and professional. I would hands down recommend Eileen Kennedy-Moore to speak with parents, child care providers or professional.
