Bertha Maude Hostetter Holliday 1884-1977

Bertha Maude Hostetter was born on February 25, 1884 in Sullivan County, Missouri. She was the first child born to William Andrew Hostetter Jr. and Margaret Amanda Hines. Her brothers and sisters are: Rosa Lee, James Wesley, Susan May, John Adams, William Henry, Marion Elva, Reuben, Russell Jackson, R.E., Walter Taylor, Perry Allen, and Edmond H.

On October 2, 1909 she married Edward Jay Holliday in Sullivan County, Missouri. They had three children: Alice Weneva, Samuel Jay, and Marjorie Elizabeth.

Bertha passed away on October 9, 1977 in Bakersfield, California and was laid to rest in Bakersfield.
