Alice Weneva Holliday was born on September 20, 1911 in Pollock, Missouri. She was the first child born to Edward Jay Holliday and Bertha Maude Hostetter: Alice Weneva, Samuel Jay, and Marjorie Elizabeth.

Alice's first marriage was to John McAtee. They had no children. Her second marriage was on September 18, 1968 to Lewis Sexton in Bakersfield, California. They also had no children.
