Abstract A small number of zirconia medals was fabricated at 55 mm in diameter having a decorative surface pattern with a resolution of 100 mu m. Two families of processes were used to generate the desired parts without high tool costs. The template model was suitable for the fabrication of molds for it showed no undercuts or other features that would make direct replication impossible. Advantages and limitations of three fabrication methods was shown and compared. [References: 4] XX
