Abstract A detailed prototype heat exchanger for installation in pool pump assemblies was prepared using a cast epoxy tool. The heat exchanger is designed as a replacement for conventional metal heat exchangers to reduce size and weight and to resist corrosion. The aluminum-filled epoxy has a combination of strength, high glass transition temperature, and thermal properties required for the injection molds. XX
