Abstract. 3D, DSM Desotech Link on Rapid Prototyping. 3D Systems Corp. and DSM Desotech Inc. will jointly develop and market nonliquid stereolithography hardware, software, and materials for rapid tooling and direct and indirect inline manufacturing processes. The deal follows two acquisitions. On February 12, 3D Systems bought OptoForm, a French developer of stereolithography systems based on paste materials. In 1999, DSM Desotech acquired DuPont Somos, the world's second-largest supplier of rapid prototyping materials. XX
