Abstract Small as well as large companies are expected to benefit from the coming together of the University of Kentucky and the J.B. Speed Scientific School Rapid Prototyping Consortium to provide rapid-prototyping technology. The over two dozens members of the consortium will now have access to the expertise of the university's staff, as well as to a DTM Sinterstation 2000 system used to make models straight from CAD data.
