Abstract Rapid prototyping services expand on the Internet with two Web sites that facilitate service information, price quoting, and transactions between manufacturers and RP bureaus. Bits2Parts.com and Protomarket.com deliver standardized requests for quotes (RFQs) on prototyping and tooling jobs. Selected service bureaus then upload their responses. These two sites manage the entire procurement process. XX
