Abstract A family of resins that provides the properties of polypropylene is announced by DSM Somos, New Castle, DE. The first of three planned resins in the Somos 9100 Series is optimized for curing by argon lasers. The resin mimics polypropylene tensile strength, elongation at yield, and Young's modulus. Parts can survive room temperature vulcanization. XX
