Abstract A new range of "Parts-in-Minutes" polyurethanes (PURs) from Ciba Specialty Chemicals' Performance Polymers division is discussed. These new resins are said to cure quickly while providing a combination of high-impact strength, flexural modulus, and heat-deflection temperature. The PURs are said to be ideal for the fast casting of tough durable prototypes and short-run functional parts for the automotive consumer product, business equipment, and appliance industries. XX
