Looking for ancestry & info re: Aaron Boots & his daughter Mary Boots, who married Edmund Harmer 08 Sep 1851 at the Wesleyan Chapel, Robertsbridge, Ticehurst, Sussex, England. Shortly after their marriage (abt 1851/2), Mary & Edmund emigrated to Ontario, Canada, where they had 7 children together.
Mary Boots was born abt 1830 in Sussex, she died 1 Mar 1886 at Nassagaweya Township, Halton Co, Ontario. She is interred at Eden Mills Cemetery, Eramosa Township, Wellington Co., Ontario. She was listed as a "Canadian Methodist" on the 1881 Census in Nassagaweya Township, Ontario.
The marriage certificate lists Mary's father as Aaron Boots, & lists his occupation as "laborer". Nothing further is known about him.

She had one son, Orville Leroy Cohn, born in Kansas City, Mo. March 3, 1913. Herbert Cohn was a mule trader and I am assuming that was the reason she moved to New Mexico or Texas. She later divorced, and married Thomas Paten Boone. He had a Wild West Show. Either in New Mexico or Texas. She was a very colorful lady. She loved the show, but after selling the show, settled in Hobbs New Mexico, and then later to Christoval, Texas, where she died in July,1966. She had one brother that I remember. His name was Art Boots.

All of these marriages are identified as children of Eli and Mary (Lop) Pendroy.
An interesting note is there are three marriages between the families Boots and Pendroy. (Their grandson Levi Boots Pendroy is the namesake of present day Pendroy, Montana. That family also founded now gone Pendroy, North Dakota. A picture of elderly Levi Boots Pendroy is online.
Seeking more information on any Pendroy and Boots marriages and descendants. This is from greene County Ohio.
Note: In 1830s and 40s some pendroys went to Delaware, Harrison and LaFayette Counties of Indiana.
Joel and Adam Boots line are unknown completely at this time.
Jacob and Margaret (Boots) Pendroy went to Marion and Jasper County Iowa (Monroe Iowa) in 1847. They stayed but most of their children later on went west after the Civil War.
