Island Village II Important facts
Welcome to the beautify and lush Hutchinson Island. First let me thank you
for choosing Island Village II the private beach resort. The following
is a list of items you will need to get comfortable and stay informed.
The Hot Water heater fuse should be turned on upon arrival and turned off
upon departing. The fuse box is located in the kitchen on the wall across
from the oven.
- Turn on Hot Water upon arrival.
- Turn off Hot Water
upon departing.
- The ceramic stove requires special treatment (please do not use any
abrasive cleaning sponges or abrasive liquids - like soft clean or Ajax).
You should only use a paper towel and special cleaning liquid that is supplied.
Also supplied is a straight edge razor scraper to clean over top. Be
very careful not to use the sharp edges (scrape evenly and carefully). Also
be very careful not to spill sugar or salt on the ceramic top for it will
damage the ceramic.
For the privacy of the homeowners and rents Island Village II provides key
access to your private beach. The beach is a short walk across the street
just between the two high rises. Note this is your private beach shared by
the owners of Island Villages I & II. On the beach there is a gazebo
where you can store your shoes, sandals, bags towels etc. There is
also a rinsing area where you can rinse the sand off your body and beach
items. Since this is a private beach there are no life guards and if
you seek life guards there is a public beach adjacent to A1A and Jensen Beach
causeway on Hutchinson Island just two miles south.
The complex (Island Village II) has a full size heated pool; note you will
need your key for both the access to the pool area and bathrooms located
next to the pool.
If you require house cleaning services please let me know?
The condo is fully furnished, with everything you need. Please don't use
the quilts as blanket; or bring the bath towels, sheets, blankets or quilts
to the beach. Please use the beach towels.
There are many activities on Hutchinson Island:
- Turtle watching (May-August).
- Bath Tub reef beach (excellent snorkeling along a natural worm reef).
Located on the tip of Sailfish Point Hutchinson Island South (south of the
Indian RIver Marriott Resort -Approximately 6 miles south of the complex).
Or two miles south of Indian River Marriott Resort.
- There is Private golf club that is open to the public (golf, lunch,
brunch, dinner) ¼ mile north of Island Village II on the left. Gorgeous
environment, secluded location on Hutchinson Island. Intercoast to the west
and the Atlantic ocean to the east.
- Sailfish Point: Indian River Marriott Resort Golfing. South Hutchinson
Island.
- Surf fishi off your private beach or try the South Hutchinson Island
causeway - fishing is excellent.
