EnviroLink is a non-profit, grassroots online community that unites hundreds of organizations and volunteers around the world with millions of people in more than 150 countries. EnviroLink is dedicated to providing you with the most comprehensive, up-to-date environmental resources available.

EcoPort is an Open Source public-domain, internet-based information service that provides controlled input but open access to reliable knowledge about the biological entities of the earth's life support systems and the resource management decisions that determine their sustainability

The Committee for the National Institute for the Environment has a mission to improve the scientific basis for making decisions on environmental issues through the successful operation of a National Institute for the Environment (NIE).

Planet Neighborhood, a multimedia project produced by WETA-TV in Washington DC, examines the way people across the nation are using down-to-earth concepts and innovative technologies in their quest to preserve the environment. The series is hosted by environmental architect William McDonough, and was designed to show the trade-offs between economic and environmental costs, with an emphasis on grassroots action and citizen empowerment.

Environmental Protection Agency Terms of Environment.  Contains a glossary and an acronym directory.  "Terms Of Environment" defines in non-technical language the more commonly used environmental terms appearing in EPA publications, news releases, and other Agency documents available to the general public, students, the media, and Agency employees.

Congressional Research Service reports on-line, divided by topic. The Congressional Research Service (CRS), part of the Library of Congress, prepares its reports for the U.S. Congress. CRS products undergo review for accuracy and objectivity and contain non-technical information that can be very useful to people interested in environmental policy. Despite their potential value to a broad audience, CRS does not itself provide these documents to the general public.
