Robert's 323i

The Project car was obtained from an E-21 digest member for the measly sum of $300.00. It was immediately driven from the Nashville, Tennessee area to the southern suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia.

It cruised steadily at 80-85 mph without complaint.

Upon closer inspection, it was found to be in fairly solid mechanical condition save for some injector seals manufactured from RTV silicone and a general over reliance on this RTV. They really should require people to have a license to buy the stuff.

It received a set of  Koni Red shocks (WAY too compliant) and a shock installation kit very shortly thereafter, along with a new Ansa Sport Muffler.

Presently, it is awaiting the turbo installation, a new to it transmission.  323i rear brake transplant, and an Alpina rear anti-sway bar.

Bilstein Sports, a set of H&R springs, a 323i front brake transplant as well as a rear deck spoiler and front motorsport air dam have now been installed.

It is also on a weight loss program to include the A/C, most interior, bumpers and any thing else that will unbolt. If it doesn't make the car faster or safer its coming off and for sale.
