All of our outdoor furniture and accessories
are constructed with #1 kiln-dried, pressure treated wood.
The wood is dried before and after treatment, which means it is
"pre-shrunk", and resists the cracking or splitting found
in normal pressure treated lumber. This means that over time
your piece will be as sturdy and tight as the day it was purchased.
Since the excess moisture is already taken out you can stain it
right away or let it weather naturally. Each piece is handcrafted
and great care is taken to ensure its sturdiness and quality.

serves a dual role. It has latticework designed
for vine bearing plants and a comfortable glider bench
for relaxing and enjoying your garden. The cedar
shake roof will help protect you during those spring showers
and from the summer sun. Like all of our furniture
it is constructed out of a premium pressure treated lumber
that is kiln dried twice to remove moisture from the wood.
This protects against cracking around fasteners and maintains
the beauty of your piece longer than regular pressure
treated lumber. You can order your covered glider
with either a clear coat natural finish or a white stain.
Either way your new addition will last you for years and
give you many tranquil days where you can kick back and
take pleasure in your own backyard.This
beautiful covered glider serves a dual role. It
has latticework designed for vine bearing plants and a
comfortable glider bench for relaxing and enjoying your

Arbor
Dutch Barns makes two
absolutely beautiful arbors. The one pictured above left is
our small arbor. It can be built with benches as shown (optional),
or without. This small arbor makes a gorgeous walk-through
entrance to any garden area. The
large arbor (above right) is wide enough to accommodate benches
or that 5 foot swing you picked out earlier! Either arbor
you choose will become a beautiful part of your landscape.
- All arbors are crafted with the
very finest pressure treated wood available - #1 Kiln Dried Southern
Yellow Pine is dried after treatment to avoid shrinking.
This means that the wood is less likely to pull away from our
fasteners.
- Our arbors are put together with
special galvanized screws (excludes lattice) that are tested for
2600 hours for rust. Normal galvanized screws are only tested
for rust about 500 hours.
- Lattice work on sides is ideal for
vine producing plants.
- Can be picked up or delivered
- Benches and swings are optional.
