View In Internet Zone Help
~ Outlook 2002 ~
Again, for information on viewing an Outlook stationery message with Microsoft Outlook 2002, in the Internet Zone, which is the only way to view a message with a background scroll, or any other special effects, and allow the scroll and/or special effects to work properly, please follow the steps below.
- Open up Microsoft Outlook 2002 with either a left click on the Microsoft Outlook 2002 Icon in your Task Bar next to the Start button or a double left click on the Microsoft Outlook 2002 desktop Icon.
- With the Inbox displayed, on your screen, double left click on an e-mail message. This will open up the message.
- If the e-mail message is a stationery message and it's the first time you have opened up a message, of this type then, a yellow warning message box will be displayed with the following message: "This HTML message contains script, which Outlook cannot display. This may affect how the message appears."
- Note: If you would like, place a check, in the check box, in front of the words "Don't show me this message again." by placing your cursor over the check box and followed by a left click.
- Left click on OK, in the lower portion, of the warning message box. The warning message will disappear leaving you with e-mail message displayed on the screen.
- With message displayed on the screen, click on "View", in the top menu bar. The menu bar that begins with the word "File". This will display the Tools drop down menu.
- Select the "View In Internet Zone" menu option by moving your mouse down and over the words, to highlight them, followed by a left click.
- A yellow warning message box will be displayed with the following message: "Warning: View This Message In The Internet Zone."
- Note: If you would like, place a check, in the check box, in front of the words "Don't show me this message again." by placing your cursor over the check box and followed by a left click.
- Finally, left click on OK, in the lower portion, of the warning message box. The warning message will disappear leaving you with e-mail message displayed on the screen and if, there is a background scroll associated with the stationery the background will begin to scroll.
Additional Information:
- With regard to the yellow pop up warning message box, in Steps 3 and 7, they will pop up with any and all Outlook stationery messages whether or not the messages have a background scroll or special effect associated with them. Additionally, the warning message box will continue to pop up every time until you open a stationery message until you ask not to be shown the warning message box again.
- With regard Steps 5 and 6 of above process, they must be preformed every time you open up any and all stationery message, if you would like to view it in the Internet Zone, which again, is the only way to view a message with a background scroll, or any other special effects, and allow the scroll and/or special effects to work properly.
- Note: If the stationery does not have a background scroll or special effect associated with it, which you will not know until you have opened the message at least once, you will not have to perform Steps 5 and 6.
