Found throughout America. Low growing. Flowers are all on one side of the peduncle.

Alien but has been planted extensively as a ground cover and has excaped. Will grow on about any soil and is good for erosion control.

A prairie plant. This picture was taken at Split Rock State Park which is found in the Southwestern part of the State.

An alien that has escape from farms in many locations. Good for fixing nitrogen into the soil.
