Daniel was born near Middlebury, Vermont. He had been living in East Farnham, Quebec, Canada since 1823. He married Harriet on November 4, 1838 in Middlebury, Vermont. All of the children were born in Canada. In 1853, the family moved to Wisconsin. Scroll down to see an outline descendant list.
