His second marriage was on January 26, 1901 in San Juan County, New Mexico to Lucreita Black, daughter of William Grant Black and Lucretia Jane Maxwell. They were the parents of ten children: Harvey William, Hazel Gertrude, George Grant, Albert Curtis, Dallas Tyler, Woodrow Farland, Charles Newton, Eva Irene, Richard Maxwell, and Thomas Benton.
William Albert Adair passed away on November 18, 1927 in Bluff, San Juan County, Utah and was laid to rest in Bluff.
