Family Reunion 2008

Our family reunion was held July 19, 2008 in Pinetop, Arizona for the descendants of John W. Adair and Cynthia J. Penrod. There were forty people in attendance. We started with a potluck lunch at the large ramada at Woodland Lake Park. There was plenty to eat with chicken, salads, and desserts. After eating we visited before taking family pictures. Following pictures about fifteen of us went on a hike at Turkey Trail which runs into Walnut Creek. The hike was a total distance of 1.5 miles.

After returning to the ramada everyone went to the Pinetop Cemetery to see the monument we had put in almost ten years ago to the date. It looked just like it did in 1998. We had the monument placed there because many of the headstones of family members were missing or unreadable. While at the cemetery many of the children planted flower seeds around the monument and headstones.

The reunion was very enjoyable and a chance to see cousins we have not seen in a long time.
