Per Ancestral File and Ordinance Index, parents are William Grant Black and Lucretia Jane Maxwell. 2. US Census: 1900 for Precinct #4, San Juan, New Mexico, ED #4, p. 194A. Copy is very illegible but appears to show William G. Black, his wife Lucretia and six children. It indicates they had 7 children altogether with only 6 living. The oldest child was born in Utah and the rest in Arizona. The 3rd child listed appears to be Lucretia and all her data is too faint to read. The fourth and sixth children are daughters names June and Eva ages 14 and 11 respectively. 3. Reviewed Rootsweb.com WorldConnect 8 Dec 2002. One shows a son Richard Maxwell b. 4 Jul 1921 at Bluff, San Juan, UT. Another shows parents are William Grant Black b. 1857 in Nephi, UT and Lucretia Jane Maxwell b. Stewart's Ranch, Spring Lake Utah.
