Concerning my automotive background -- I am the co-founder of a Corvette club, Corvette Chattanooga, formed in 1969, serving as president of the club for the first two years. After re-joining the Navy, I contacted Jim Prather, the founder of Vette Vues Magazine, and I covered the West Coast Corvette scene as an Associate Editor for Vette Vues Magazine during 1974-76.

I've owned a number of the automobiles in our Top 30 listing including a '63 Corvette Coupe, a '57 Thunderbird, three '57 Chevrolet Bel Airs, two '67 Corvettes, a '65 Pontiac GTO, a '66 Mustang Coupe with a couple of rare options, a '69 SS-396 Camaro, a '56 Chevrolet Nomad, two '62 Corvettes and a nice '89 Thunderbird (it wasn't a Super Coupe, but it should have been.) I currently drive a 2000 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe (black/oak).

Thanks for visiting this site. I hope it was worth the investment of your time.
