DSF Frequently Asked Questions:
Hidden. Having problems with those pesky, elusive demons that emerge from and vanish back into thin air? Here's a short guide I wrote that gives some tips to help handle them.
Lazarus - There are tactical guides to killing the Butcher and King Leoric available on Freshman Diablo, but not for Lazarus. Roland featured the following write-up on his newbie-oriented Website, until the site files were lost in a server crash. I found a copy of this in my browser cache, so am making it again available. Note that a) this is only applicable to MP games; the SP Lazarus scenario is quite different, and b) this is only one approach to defeating Laz in MP - there are many viable ones, especially at Normal difficulty.

Warriors - .Gore.'s guide for warriors was one of the first guides written by a member of the DSF community. A few years later, it still is one of the better guides available. Unfortunately, in July, 2001, .Gore.'s Website disappeared without warning. I had saved the text for my own reference, but, unfortunately, not the screenshots. Thanks to Thecla, I was able to obtain four of the images, but most of them are still missing. If anyone knows how I can obtain the missing ones, please let me know.

The Spell of Berserk. The first time I cast the Spell of Berserk on a monster, nothing happened. After that gaming session, I checked JG on a hunch, and found out that that monster was magic-immune (Berserk is a magic-based spell). Then I had a thought, "What happens when you cast Berserk on a magic-resistant monster?" I asked the question on the DSF, but got no answer. A couple of months later, I asked it again, but again got no answer (at that time I was wrapped up in MP and not playing HF). A few weeks after that, while discussing something else, I mentioned that I had asked that question twice, and gotten no answer, so I was starting to think that no one knew. SoulEdge decided to answer the question. This isn't his original post, with all of the results of his testing, which was interesting in itself, but a later write-up, concentrating on the uses of the Spell of Berserk. This is one of the best guides to a single spell that I know of.
