COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course covers single and multiple target tracking with data from one or more sensors. The emphasis is on the information needed to analyze, select, design, and develop algorithms for practical tracking systems. Of particular interest are association algorithms for tracking small targets, e.g., data association (correlation), multiple models, track-to-track association, and sensor fusion. This course contains the highlights of the speaker's five-day course.
BENEFITS: This course will enable you to:
INTENDED AUDIENCE: This intensive course is designed for engineers, scientists and managers concerned with target tracking systems. Familiarity with manipulations of matrices and vector-matrix equations is desirable. The course starts at the introductory level, builds up to advanced tracking techniques, and highlights the critical details for tracking under challenging conditions, such as clutter and dim targets that are close or crossing.
SPEAKER: Dr. Oliver E. Drummond, an independent consulting engineer, is recognized internationally as an expert in multiple sensor, multiple target tracking. He earned his Ph. D. at UCLA. He has over 20 years experience in various aspects of multiple target tracking and sensor data fusion. He has presented his advanced, intensive five-day course on this topic throughout the United States, Europe and Israel. He has worked for The Aerospace Corp., Hughes Aircraft Co. and Hughes Missile Systems Co. He is currently under contract with a number of organizations to consult on multiple-sensor multiple-target tracking, sensor-data fusion, and combat identification.
