What Is It? Dimensions Three (D3) is the newsletter of the Stereo Division of the Photographic Society of America. It is published three times a year: January, May and September. Following Stan White's (the previous Editor) lead, there are 6 issues per volume, so it takes two years to complete a volume. I took over as Editor in January 2002 with issue 5.1. How is it Distributed? The preferred distribution of D3 is electronic, in the form of a PDF file. You can download this file from the PSA Stereo Division's web site: http://home.attbi.com/~psastereo/ Look for a new issue around the end of the due month. Or, let me know and I will add you to my distribution list, to email a new issue when it is ready. To read it, you need Adobe Acrobat Reader. This is available from: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html The advantage of the electronic distribution is the availability of colors for the readers and also the reduced expenses for the Stereo Division. A limited number of printed copies (in B&W) are kept on file by the Editor. These can be mailed (until supplies last) to those who do not have access to the Internet, but we are asking to supply the Editor with self-addressed and stamped (one first-class stamp) envelopes for one or more years. Inventory of Old Issues PSA-SD Webmaster, David Thayer, has been doing a great job uploading the current issue and also keeping an inventory of old issues here: http://home.attbi.com/~stereopix/pdf/d3.htm (a link is also provided directly from the main SD web page, under the photo of the Dimensions Three issue). What to Read in D3? Some of the regular features in D3:
As the Editor, I depend on you, the readers, to provide the information. If you have any questions, news to share, feedback, etc., do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you! George Themelis |
