Autoshop101 - Automotive Training Resource Site Authored by Prof. Kevin Sullivan of Skyline College of Automotive Technology. The site emphasizes the electrical systems of automobiles and has lots of pictures of components and in depth information. It's aimed at technicians, but if your question is electrical this is a good place to look for an answer. Offers automotive training support for automotive technicians, students, and teachers. Online ASE style electrical practice tests, technical articles, online tutorials, etc.

AUTONET.CA - From Canada. New & used cars info, new car dealers, trucks, reviews, new car prices, etc. Also has extensive automotive maintenance pages, eh.

Autosite.com - Repairs/Maintenance AutoSite is one of the major automotive web sites. This is a direct link to their maintenance and repair section. Some links are provided, but mainly has good maintenance tips.

Diva Female Car Insurance UK Not only does this site have information about insurance for, I guess, female cars - as if there were any other kind - but it also has a number of maintenance tips and safety precautions geared especially, but not exclusively, for female drivers.

Family Car. com / auto101 Excellent, detaied descriptions of automobile operation and car care tips. This is another major automotive site.

FTC / Taking the Scare Out of Auto Repair A good government operated site with basic information about how to choose a repair shop, repair charges, warranties, service contracts and more. Also has links to places where you can find valuable government published books and pamphlets on these subjects.

How a Car Engine Works This a link to the automotive section of the How Stuff Works site. This is a comprehensive site and has links to other "how it works" sites. You can spend a lot of time on this site learning about many other technology areas in addition to automotives. Good explanatory animations.

GetUsedParts.com Search salvage yards online to locate used car and truck parts. The site also has extensive automotive directory listings.

Bob Hewitt's Autorepair A lot of maintenance info presented in an anecdotal fashion. Future aim is to organize content by subject. There are links to numerous additional auto sites.
