AutoSpeak The emphasis is on racing related subjects, but also has a wider scope of auto purchasing and maintenance tips. Their "bookstore" links to Amazon's auto offerings. Also includes downloadable auto sounds, photos and racing news. Car Connection General information and a few links. The emphasis is on timely automotive news, car and show reviews, features, etc. Cars.com This general auto site has car reviews, pricing info, and a wide range of car topics. Also includes advice from Click and Clack, the Tappet brothers. CarTalk.com Tom and Ray Maggliozzi, the Tappet brothers from NPR's Car Talk, provide an extensive site with advice, archives and lots of useless items for sale. There is also a mechanic recommendation section, which is probably useful - but be forewarned by someone of an extremely cynical cast of mind that what you're reading there might well be written by the mechanics themselves. Give extra weight to spelling and grammatical errors. CarTest.ca Includes independent reviews, opinions and commentary on new and used cars, minivans, cargo vans, SUVs and pickup trucks. Family Car.com Excellent, detailed descriptions of automobile operation and car care tips. This is another major automotive site with links to the entire world of automotives. GetUsedParts.com Search salvage yards online to locate used car and truck parts. The site also has extensive automotive directory listings. Road & Travel An online resource that provides content from which women consumers can make informed and intelligent decisions regarding automotive purchases, travel plans, and safety issues while on the road. The site's mission is to keep women safe by providing them with the tips, advice and reviews they need to make informed decisions.
