Oct 04, 2007 - Swedish direct manufacturing technology company Arcam AB said that it has received two new orders for its electron beam melting-based (EBM) free form fabrication system Arcam A2. The new orders, valued at a total of approximately SEK10m, were placed by a US university and a French subcontractor to the aerospace and vehicle industries. The Arcam A2 system was introduced in April.
Arcam, headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, develops and sells CAD-to-metal equipment, software and related services. The company has 33 employees and reported a turnover of SEK47.3m in 2006.
