Killer is a Yellow Nape Amazon Parrot...

She was hatched in 1984, which makes her 19 years old at the time I'm writing this, and she has lived with me for the last 15 years. I expect that she will outlive me, as Amazons can live quite a long time.

Like all Amazons, she has a very outgoing personality, a natural flair for comedy, and a love of baths and showers that knows no bounds.

Her vocabulary is quite large, and she loves to sing scales and "Old MacDonald Had A Farm." Actually, she insists on only the one verse, "Old MacDonald had a bird..."

I have been trying to teach her the "doowahdittyditty-dumdittydoo" song, but so far she remains resistant.
