Jill Barnett Romance and Women's fiction novelist. And just a very sweet lady. Camille Bacon-Smith A Renaissance woman. She's written scolarly tomes and genre fiction. Good stuff. Read it all. Keith R.A. DeCandido He wears many hats...well, not if you're speaking literally. Then it's usually only his favorite one. If you like media tie-in fiction, visit his site. He's also fun to read when he's ranting and raving about somethingorother too. Doris Egan The very outdated and inactive website of a hollywood bigshot. Check Here to see what she's been up to lately Marina Frantz Writer, underwater photographer, cool chick. Check out her links page...it's much better than this one. Laura Anne Gilman Writer, editor, tired person. One of the last Jersey Conspiracy members still in Jersey. J. Ardian Lee A woman of many identities. I actually loved reading time travel fiction set in Scotland before she had her series published. Very Groovy. May McGoldrick Actually Jim & Nikoo. They write historical romance under this name and romantic suspense under the name Jan Coffey. And other stuff too...all of it highly recommended. Edwin Romond My high school English and Creative Writing teacher who also happens to be a wonderful poet. Not his fault that I'm slacking in the writing departmen!! Raine Szramski My favorite fantasy illustrator in the whole entire universe. Could be because she's a good friend and painted my portrait...but judge for yourself. Susan Wiggs Not only is she a great Romance author, but her site rocks. Her mother does the commentary and she's a hoot.
WebUX Web Hosting If you need an inexpensive web host, especially for a professional site, try here. Lots of hosting choices and very reasonably priced. Plus, if you can't, or don't have the free time that I do to build your own site...that service is offered too. No, I don't know the owner...or at least he doesn't know me *g*. Doctor HTML Check your HTML coding for errors here. Just type in the URL of the page you want to check, it checks it for problems, and generates a report in seconds. You get everything from spell checking to hyperlink verification. A very helpful little toy. Webmonkey This is a great place to go if you're stuck. They have some great tutorials and resources for webmasters and you can ask questions...well, search for answers, here. Designer Wiz Get yourself some groovy JavaScripts here. Script Search A searchable database of ALL kinds of scripts. If you need a script for ANYTHING, you'll probably track it down here. Lots of free ones too. GRSites This place is awesome. They have a nifty online button generator where I made all my buttons for this website. Also got all of the backgrounds here. Lori's Backgrounds Some very lovely, classy backgrounds here. I've used some of them for my other sites. Flaming Text Very cool banner generator that where you can design yourself a nifty logo or banner with burning letters or other groovy effects. Midi Search Although I don't have irritating musical pages on this site, I've done it before (and I will again). Music only works for special occasions and ALWAYS provide the on/off/volume control. You can find your midi files here. Star Trek in Sound and Vision I debated whether to put this under here or fannish links, but I feel it's more a resource than a fansite. Nifty trek effects of all sorts here
Bruce Campbell Bruce Campbell is THE MAN! He gets top billing here because he quoted an email I sent him in his autobiography If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor. In the paperback version, check out page 314. Well, besides that, he's cool and his website is a lot of fun. He's good at ranting too. Nick Lea Ahhh...Ratboy. This is one of the better sites about him. He, personally, has nothing to do with this site, but the owner is very dedicated to keeping it up to date and interesting. I'll take a Ratboy in Leather, extra scruffy. Spender and Krycek Webring This is much easier than listing a buncha Nick sites. This is a webring containing sites dedicated to Spender and Krycek, either separately or together. Since the demise of the X-Files, many of the rings for either Krycek or Nick Lea have dissapeared too. This is one I managed to track down that is still operational. SPAK -- Society For the Protection of Alex Krychek Webring This is actually a website that has it's own mini-ring started. Michael Shanks Webring I was introduced to the Shanks side of the Force by The SUe. Do I have a thing for young, cute, Canadian actors? Probably. Anyway, this is the hub to the ring and I'm still poking around here myself.
RecipeSource Formerly SOAR: The Searchable Online Archive of Recipes. Lots and lots of recipes. They're indexed by type of food and searchable by title or entire recipe. Who knew that there were so many ways to make carrot cake? AllRecipes.com This is a good recipe site too. On the rare occasion that I can't find it on RecipeSource, it will turn up here.
