| Commercial paint booths were way to small for my liking and outside venting was not an option for me. I came up with this simple but very effective design for a paint booth. I was fortunate to come across a surplus military electrical test bench, but any old table, bench or desk would work with some framing. Lighting is 2 x 36" color balanced fluorescent tubes. The exhaust is a 20" x 20" box fan, filtration is provided by 1 high quality and 1 cheap furnace filter. The white side panels are foam poster board. The system is almost 100% effective - I have hardly any paint dust in my basement and minimal fumes. | |
