Fees

There are four ways to pay for Dolphin Midwifery Services.

  1. The most popular is to pay the discounted pre-paid amount of $1950, divided into monthly payments.  These are payments made in advance of care received.
  2. You can pay the pre-paid discounted amount in total at the beginning of the pregnancy.
  3. You can pay the normal fee of $2700 by the 37th week of pregnancy.
  4. You can check with your insurance company to see if their policy allows midwives.  More and more are accepting midwives as they learn that our care is, indeed, the least expensive for them.
All these payment methods require a non-refundable deposit of $350 at the beginning of our association.  (More if you do not get care until later in your pregnancy)  Credit can be given for prenatal care and lab work already received by other health care providers as long as documents can be made available.

You will also be required to pay $200 to the birth assistant at the birth.

Any other expenses you might incur would be delivery at a birth center ($500), child birth classes (fees vary), a sonogram ($70), referral to a doctor (variable), any dietary supplements for the physiological imbalances due to pregnancy, prophylactic RhoGam if your blood is Rhesus negative, or any other services not normally provided by a midwife.
