Photos From A Great Day of Golf
The Tee Time was 10:03 AM, October 23 , 1999. Bob, Rick , Jeff, and Steve were scheduled to tee off at TPC in Cromwell, CT.
The weather forecast had been threatening rain. The rain came and left before tee time and before long, we were on our way - well, some of us were on our way. I took the long way a few times. I figured, "Nobody uses the fairway all of the time!" We added new meaning to the word "Handicap".
It was a little chilly at first but before long, it turned into a beautiful Autumn day. A little windy - temperatures in the 50s.
As the temperatures rose, the scores fell (only slightly). The bragging rights changed hands regularly. No course records were threatened and no animals were harmed (that we know of). I swear I saw Jeff have a conversation with a goose on 16, but I ignored it and played on. We all had a chance to make some great golf shots.
Some $$$ changed hands, and it was a great day of golf with a great bunch of guys.
Here are some pictures from a great day of golf.
Thanks guys!
