My name is Doc, and this is the story about a skiing injury, a seriously broken ankle, and some very nice people at Suburban Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center, who helped me to literally "get back on my feet" and walk again. No simple task... I first heard about Tom Sweeney's practice when a friendly old gentleman walked up to me and, seeing that I was wearing a cast, handed me Tom's card. I had no idea I would eventually hear so many good things from a bunch of people. He has an excellent reputation. And the loyalty of his patients demonstrates that. I am still hearing good things from former patients of his. Every patient who drops by, doesn't seem to mind too much that they may be in great pain or discomfort, because they are relieved to experience the positive, friendly atmosphere in "Tom's Playhouse". The healing power of his supportive, smiling staff cannot be measured. Susan's voice coming through the telephone, cheerfully announcing each arrival, tardy or not... Every single one of them is friendly. Now I know where the expression "No Pain - No Gain" came from, but they promise I can resume my Ballroom Dancing Lessons soon. Meet the whole team: | |

When an applicant asked if the company had a fitness program, the human resources manager replied, "Oh, our employees don't need one. They are routinely jumping to conclusions, flying off the handle, beating around the bush, running down the boss, going around in circles, dragging their feet, dodging responsibility, passing the buck, climbing the ladder, wading through paperwork, pulling strings, throwing their weight around, stretching the truth, bending the rules, stabbing others in their backs and pushing their luck!"
