03/12 Jacksonville FL. Well here we are back in Jacksonville. After leaving Nashville, we spent time visiting with friends and Andi's kids in Dunlap, Chattanooga, and Cleveland TN. In April we decided to head back to Jacksonville (Jax) FL to work on DNA. Unfortanly, when we got back reality has some surprises. The first bad news, a tree limb had fallen on the car during the many storms the hit FL last year. The good news was no glass was broken and that both doors still worked. The next bad news, there was no money in the cursing kitty to work on DNA. We had to come up with a plan B.
A good friend, that I worked with as a FL bridge tender, was now a manager with a company that does assembly of grills and stuff for Lowe's, Home Depot, and others. He gave Andi a job working during the week. Because we only have one car, I would help out at West Marine on the weekends and once we save some working capital I could start work on DNA during the week. The West Marine I has worked at last year was nice enough to go along with the plan and let me work around Andi's schedule.

Update 06/23 - When we first got back, we were staying in a RV park  near Green Cove Springs. With Andi driving 40+ miles every day, we decided to move closer to Jax. Again our friend was there. With the better job, he had got a new place and was selling the old one. A 10x50 trailer about 9mi from Jax. Beach. The trailer park is a gated community with a pool and a locked storage lot where we can keep the RV. While his rent is higher, he is letting us pay about what we would at a local RV park. We had to come up with extra money to have the utilities turned on and we must move when the place sells. But, on the plus side it has some furniture, washer/dryer,  refrigerator, and a tub/shower with lots of hot water. Ice cream is a welcome change.
Update 07/01 - Still in Jacksonville and thanks to a couple of friends, we have a new toy. The friend, who's trailer we are staying in gave us a 19?? Honda Shadow that needed some repairs to become operational. A trucker friend, who we helped become sail boater, found a 19?? Honda Hawk that was in excelant condition and light enough to carry on the RV. He Brought it to Jacksonville and swapped it for the Shadow that wasn't working. So Thanks to our tow good friends, we are bikers again. We did pay for the registration, insurance, a carrier for the RV, and two helmets. I'm reminded of the saying that nothing is FREE..
