Final resting place of General Thomas. The Kellogg family burial ground located in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy New York. The monument was designed by the distinguished sculptor, Robert E. Launtiz in the form of a sarcophagus of white marble, surmounted by a finely sculptured American eagle grasping in its talons an accurate representation of the sword used by the general during the war.
