The Museums!

The Guggenheim Museum

The Guggenheim was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and includes major works by 20th century artists.

The Worlds of Nam June Paik was the exhibit at the Guggenheim when I visited. No artist has had a greater influence in imagining and realizing the artistic potential of video and television. Click here to see the exhibit in action.  The Paik Exhibit - looking up from the bottom

Fashioning the Body?

The Fashion Institute of Technology Museum had an exhibit entitled "The Corset: Fashioning the Body". Since the corset is one of the most controversial items of clothing in the history of fashion, I found this exhibit fascinating and troubling. A few mid to late 19th century corsets

Why Women Faint

At the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) I saw two wonderful exhibits called "Places" and "Things".

Awesome.
