| Best Spot for meeting this character (if there is one!):
Maybe near the Country Bear Jamboree; Christmas Parties at Magic Kingdom
|
|
| Your Chances of Finding This Character:
Could be out - he's the most common of the four Country Bears
|
|
General Info:
Wendell is one of the four Country Bears who makes appearances in the Disney World parks. Wendell is the shortest bear, with light brown fur, and sharp teeth! But don't let those teeth scare you, he is actually a really
nice guy! Unfortunatelty, he seems to make less appearances than he used to. If you are looking for him, he used to sometimes be by the Country Bear show in Frontierland, or maybe by the entrance to Magic Kingdom in Town Square. But in 2006, people
report seeing him on the sidewalk at Epcot's American Adventure, which is a fairly new place for characters. He was also out at the Christmas parties. Sadly finding Wendell may not be so easy anymore, as he used to be quite common!

Character Hunting Tips: -
Finding a beloved character can be a child (or adult's!) highlight of a trip to
Disney World! On this page, we listed a character we met, also
the places we seen this character on our
week-long trips (Jan 2003, May 2003, Oct 2003, Jan 2004, April 2004, Oct/Nov 2004, April 2005, Oct 2005, December 2005, January 2006, May 2006, November 2006, February 2007, September 2007, January 2008, October 2008).
Some characters were found by some fellow character hunters who were nice
enough to help us out!
Unfortunately, we aren't local to Florida (wish we were!!!), so we certainly don't know
everything about every character!
But we tried to list good places to look and
recent reliable sightings of that character!
Must say, sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult!
One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one!
Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next! And some
characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours! Yikes!
Your best
bet to find your favorite character
is to read various character websites (check links here!),
or ask at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they
can tell you where a character is meeting people that day),
or check the Times Guide Map that you pick up when
you enter the Disney World parks. Or just wander around
and constantly look everywhere you go! Good luck character hunting!!
