Common or Rare: Rare     (Click to see common/rare scale)

Note: Fully admit our family is taking a break from Disney and are no longer updating this site at this time (2009). Information is probably out-of-date.

Best Spot for meeting this character (if there is one!): ToonTown Character Meeting Rooms at Magic Kingdom; Mickey's Halloween or Christmas parties

Your Chances of Finding This Character: Was more common at one time, and unfortunately has become rare again!

General Info: Prince Phillip is the handsome, dashing prince who is bethrothed to Aurora, from the 1959 Disney movie Sleeping Beauty. Phillip is usually a rare character, as he tend to pop up most often at Magic Kingdom during special parties, like the Halloween, Christmas, or Princess and Pirates. Also, in 2006-2007, Phillip was making frequent appearances behind the Castle with Aurora at Magic Kingdom, but that was part of the "Year of a Million Dreams" promotion, which has since ended, so he no longer appears there. So now Phillip is back to his old rare self, hard to find like most Disney princes. So to find him, the best bet is inside the Princess room in the ToonTown Hall of Fame, during the special parties, though his appearances tend to be very sporatic and unpredictable. So good luck if you want to meet the dashing, elusive Prince Phillip!

Where we met Dashing Prince Phillip:

Nov 2006 - Back side of Castle in Fantasyland (Magic Kingdom) (meeting after the "Lets Have a Ball" show)
Oct 2005 - (Halloween Party) - ToonTown Hall of Fame Character Greeting Rooms (Magic Kingdom) (Special Halloween appearance)

Character Hunting Tips: - Finding a beloved character can be a child (or adult's!) highlight of a trip to Disney World! On this page, we listed a character we met, also the places we seen this character on our week-long trips (Jan 2003, May 2003, Oct 2003, Jan 2004, April 2004, Oct/Nov 2004, April 2005, Oct 2005, December 2005, January 2006, May 2006, November 2006, February 2007, September 2007, January 2008, October 2008). Some characters were found by some fellow character hunters who were nice enough to help us out! Unfortunately, we aren't local to Florida (wish we were!!!), so we certainly don't know everything about every character! But we tried to list good places to look and recent reliable sightings of that character!

Must say, sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult! One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one! Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next! And some characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours! Yikes! Your best bet to find your favorite character is to read various character websites (check links here!), or ask at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they can tell you where a character is meeting people that day), or check the Times Guide Map that you pick up when you enter the Disney World parks. Or just wander around and constantly look everywhere you go! Good luck character hunting!!
