Your Chances of Finding This Character: You'll find him!

General Info: Pooh Bear is the loveable, cuddly bear and needs little introduction! At Disney World, he is very easy to find. He has certain spots that he almost always can be found. At Magic Kingdom, he is at the character meal at Crystal Palace, and has been meeting just about every day in Pooh's Playful Spot play area in Fantasyland. We also sometimes see him near the Big Hat at Disney Hollywood (MGM) Studios, and always on the old Discovery Boat Landing near the bridge to Dinoland at Animal Kingdom. Also we seen him in England at Epcot, either on the sidewalk or in a room in back of the Toy Store. Pooh is a very easy bear to find! So give that nilly willy silly old bear a big bear hug when you greet him!

Character Hunting Tips: - Finding a beloved character can be a child (or adult's!) highlight of a trip to Disney World! On this page, we listed a character we met, also the places we seen this character on our week-long trips (Jan 2003, May 2003, Oct 2003, Jan 2004, April 2004, Oct/Nov 2004, April 2005, Oct 2005, December 2005, January 2006, May 2006, November 2006, February 2007, September 2007, January 2008, October 2008). Some characters were found by some fellow character hunters who were nice enough to help us out! Unfortunately, we aren't local to Florida (wish we were!!!), so we certainly don't know everything about every character! But we tried to list good places to look and recent reliable sightings of that character!

Must say, sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult! One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one! Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next! And some characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours! Yikes! Your best bet to find your favorite character is to read various character websites (check links here!), or ask at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they can tell you where a character is meeting people that day), or check the Times Guide Map that you pick up when you enter the Disney World parks. Or just wander around and constantly look everywhere you go! Good luck character hunting!!
